Ok, I promise this is the last of these Groening type things I'm going to do. They take a lot of time, and...dunno.
Alright, so these 5 men are my heroes. Not many 17 year old girls have "heroes", and I guarantee that if they did, all of their heroes wouldn't be men over the age of 40 like mine are.
Basically, these guys have had the most inspiration over my life. Lots of people have influenced me a lot, but these men really made a difference.
From left to right:
Dave Barry - Dave's a humor columnist for the Miami Herald. He's the funniest man alive, as far as I'm concerned. He's also very nice...I sent a letter to him, and he signed a book for me! It's my most prized possession.
Matt Groening - Creator of The Simpsons and Futurama, among other things. The picture's in his style, so he definitely counts as a hero. I've grown up on The Simpsons literally, seeing as the show and I are both 17.
Nathan Lane - Great singer, funny guy, and a brilliant ad-libber. He always has something witty to say...I really admire that.
Matthew Broderick - I've been watching his movies all my life. When I was little, I watched The Lion King constantly, and I can't even remember the first time I've seen Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The Producers has encouraged me to take singing lessons. Overall, I just really like him, and I can't say exactly why. He's my favorite actor, and just seems like a mellow, down to earth person. I'd give anything to see him live in a show.
Tim Burton - Tim is a genius. He's an extraordinary director, and incredibly creative. Because of him, I know that I want to work with film forever. I read his autobiography, and I just fell in love with him. He's really smart and just a good person...people just assume he's crazy because of his hair and the characters in his movies, but he's much more sane than many other people out there...
So...that's it. These guys mean a lot to me, and I just had to make this little tribute to them.
This is awsome...and you'd be surprised at how many teenaged girls really do have heroes that are over forty. XD I know I have 'em! Anyway, all the Simpsonas are great, and I especially Nathan and Matthew's poses...and for some reason Tim playing with the scissors is the most adorable thing ever. XD

Also, I'm glad to know I'm not the only girl out there with heroes!

Yeah, he looks great Simpsoniezed. XD
Me too! I don't know too many girls who have them myself. For me I think it would be Tim, Danny Elfman, Walt Disney, John Lennon, Lewis Carrol and Roald Dahl. Off the top of my head.

"America hates Dib" is not a commandment but an observation, not an injunction but a lament.
Thanks so much! I'm glad there are other people out there that appreciate true talent, and aren't just drawn to the most popular names in the tabloids.
Also, thanks for the good wishes!
