An Observation about Sponge Bob

Yesterday my brother and I were watching an episode of Sponge Bob (I'm 19 and he's 20, but in my opinion, that's not a a good enough reason to not watch Sponge Bob). It was an old favorite of mine where Sponge Bob has no one to celebrate Leif Ericson Day with, which is a downright shame, so he makes a bubble to be his best friend. Throughout the day they do some pretty shady stuff together, including stealing from the Krusty Krab, making people wait hours for the bathroom, and eventually inciting mob violence. All this stuff is pretty bad, but we know that Sponge Bob means well and doesn't actually know he's annoying/upsetting other people.
But while watching the episode yesterday, I realized that Bubble Buddy is kind of an evil sadist. This is because he simply watched that one surfer dude drown and die at high tide instead of digging him out like Sponge Bob told him to. You're led to think that Bubble Buddy is just an inanimate bubble who can't dig him out, but we find out that he was actually intelligent...at the end of the episode, he talked to Sponge Bob and defended himself against Squidward. If he can stop an attack from Squidward, he can dig a guy out of the sand, or at least try to. But instead he just sat there and watched him drown. So he's a sick, sick bubble.

I just thought that should be known...back to your regularly scheduled lives.
